So, the event at my hometown library was just about the most perfect author experience I've ever had. I got to talk to so many great kids who love books and writing, and I saw so many old friends for the first time in years. Wooot! I finished the first draft of "Courting Magic" yesterday afternoon. It's complete at (currently) 32,609 words, and it's been sent off to several fellow writers for critique.
